Course Summary Information

The department of English Language offers courses throughout the year and caters for ability levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced.  These courses may be taken on either full-time or part-time basis, and students may enroll for any length of time.  Teaching programs can be arranged for either morning or afternoon which gives students the freedom to pursue other cultural or social activities.

 The department is proud of its friendly atmosphere and believes that learning English should be made enjoyable.

Our Methods and Facilities

On arrival at the College students sit a short grading test, which enables us to place them in a class best suited to their needs. 

This flexible placement system allows students to move through classes as they make progress.

 The College uses the direct approach to language teaching: Only English is spoken in the classroom.  Classes are small (usually between 5 and 10 students) so all students have the personalized help they need to make progress quickly.

 Classes concentrate on developing the skill of speaking, listening, reading and writing in a useful and communicative way with particular emphasis on conversation in day-to-day situation.

Lesson Content

·Three hours taught lesson

·One hours exercise time for Speaking, Listening, Readingand Writing

·Practice English through role-play, discussion and conversation

·All students are given  home work

·Extra lessons for those preparing for examinations

·Advice on which books to buy
