All students, especially if new to Glasgow, may rely on the readiness of our staff to assist them with any problems they may face throughout their studies. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere encourages students to approach the principal or welfare officer for assistance. International students will find the services of the welfare officer particularly useful when they need to register with a doctor or open a bank account.

The library has an excellent reference section with up to date multi-media resources, as well as an extensive PC suite with high speed Internet access.

WGC does not have its own halls of residence, but upon request, can arrange accommodation. There are three main types of accommodation; student hostels, private flats or rooms and home-stays with English families. We put landlords in contact with students in the most user friendly and convenient way.

Students have the opportunity to join the Health & Fitness club. All students enjoy a substantial discount off the normal club fees.

The College will assist student to benefit from concession tickets where possible.

The leading banks in Glasgow provide banking services to students based on a letter issued by WGC. Students can deposit their money safely and also have money-transferred from home without difficulty.
